Find Your Inner Chef With Private Cooking Lessons for Adults and
Childrens
Enhance your culinary
competence with one of our unique in-home cooking lessons. Whether
you’re a novice or experienced cook these hands on courses give you
an opportunity to learn side-by-side with Chef Mayra and
occasionally a Guest Chef.
Each class will provide a
unique, exciting and private culinary experience in the comfort of
your own home using your own kitchen equipment, utensils, pots and
pans. If you prefer I will bring all necessary equipment. Private
cooking classes last approximately 2 hours each and will help to
de-mystify the techniques and tricks of the trade that look so
complicated when you watch chefs on TV.
You can choose a menu that you
would like to learn, or I can customize a menu for you. For example,
if you'd like to learn basic skills such as roasting, sautéing,
blanching, etc. or you have a sweet tooth and would rather focus on
VEGAN chocolate chip cookies, brownies, or pies, I will choose
recipes that use those techniques or ingredients. Once the
menu/recipes and/or specific cooking techniques are selected, I will
do all the shopping and bring the best quality ingredients directly
to your home and the fun begins. Take just one class or schedule as
many as you would like. At the end of your lesson you’ll be able to
sit and enjoy your culinary creation.

Club
 
"I am CHEF
KIDS Club" is a cooking class and chef shop for children focused on
cultivating the joy of cooking and helping your child adopt healthy
eating habits right in your Kitchen. Chef Mayra fun and educational
cooking classes teach children how to cook and eat great. Our
hands-on classes are specifically designed for various age groups.
Call me to schedule a cooking lesson Party right at your home
and give your child a lifelong gift of cooking skills and good
health.
Chef Mayra
provides a fun and safe learning environment for kids to learn
about healthy eating, food facts, kitchen safety and cooking. Your
private cooking party classes are for kids 5 to 17 years
old and have varying themes. These themes are explored in our
classes so kids learn interesting cultural, scientific and food
facts. For example, one lesson may be "Mexican food
" lesson and kids will be learning about Mexico and
making burritos, tacos and another lesson may be
"Strawberry" week and kids will be learning about strawberries and
making fun strawberry dich. For more information on Chef Mayra
